Dear Family,
Well this week was a toughy. Satan is going to war with this district. I swear, companionship problems investigators problems and simply frustration has settled in. It was just so hard. I couldnt believe what has happened this week. Presidents son in law passed away due to a heart attack so everything is just exploding in our mission. I feel super stressed out by the fact of all the things that are happening. I have veins bulging out of my head as i am writting! Do you people know it is possible to look like megamind? I didnt think so but yes its possible. This week was insane with phone calls to president he helped a lot with my stress but the fact is i really need a change from this area. Its killing me. My comp my ward my area. Not to mention the cube i get to live in called a house. also this last week jalalpa one area in my district had 4 BAPTISMS FALL AHHHH! Do you people know how bad that is? I get a huge blast from the zone leaders. LIKE WHAT HAPPENEd! Then i had to tell them the reason why this family didnt get baptised. 1 their daughter two weeks ago was hit by a motorcycle, two the mom lost her job three the cars dont work four their family has left them abandoned because well they want to join the church. fifth yesterday their grandma almost died of a heart attack too. Yet they still want to get baptised, i feel like what jesus said to the jews. yea i have not seen such great faith yea not in all jeruselem. This family needs to get baptised like now or they might blame the church for this stuff. I am on the edge people but i will not deny i love the news about Lane thank you that saved the day!! You just animated me so much to go out and be a better example for the family. Thank you so much everyone it helped more than you would think.

Dear Family,
This is how you send money, first you go to the bank. Then you go to
my account and you put in money into my savings or checkings account.
no i am not out of money but clothes are way too expensive here. I
love the pants from CTR clothing but the are way to big... like way to
big. My legs were big but now they are toothpicks. so i look like i
will be blown over by a gust of wind at any second. So thanks but no
thanks it would be faster easier and safer if you send me money. I
love how dean just said how it is. There is a difference of being
obedient and being a fariseo. Right now my companion is being a
fariseo but im used to it because in this mission is exactly what Dean
described. We sometimes force them in but we dont love them in. I
really need to just learn how to do that because this week was SO HARD
TO LOVE PEOPLE. I have never felt this much contention in all my
mission. I think Satan does not want me to achieve this because he
knows it works. The people here can be so rude. So rude it is annas
favorite word if i recall. now i never want her to say it to me again.
Because yes its horrible. there were times this week were people would
just say straight to my face the most horrible things. It was a rough
one. however it makes me so happy mom that you obeyed that prompting.
I love those moments when we feel the spirit and follow through. it is
a lot like golf. If you dont follow through your shot will be
terrible. I have learned that a lot here. Ya gotta follow through. Its
in chapter 11 of PMG the last principle says its like buying a ticket
and then not going to see it. Mom super points for you! I am still
learning how to do it. There have been times where the spirit is so
strong you cant avoid it and i love that story. Also like dean there
have been a ton of times where i wanted to come home. So bad. The
thing that keeps me here is you. I am here for my family my friends
and most important of all my God and Savior. All you little future
missionaries get ready. The work is hastening. you have to prepare, if
your not, there is a thing called repentance.I invite you to do it.
You cannot say you are ready to serve a mission until you have read
Preach my gospel at least once. That personally is my advice. Also
like dean i like to get to the point. I have almost no patience, in
certain things dont worry i am trying to be like jesus. however, when
it comes to commitments with God I want you to do it and do it now.
Dont wait dont hesitate get ready the world is getting harder and
harder in their hearts everyday, if you dont have the preperation and
the love for the people how can you expect to touch their hearts and
open their hearts to the gospel? I know that i spoke a little hard but
my point is I cant watch another missionary go home because he cant
get the sucess he wants because he didnt prepare beforehand. I cant
stand to see again, faithful members of this church fall because they
are not preparing like they should. Please do it, i love you all so
much. I know this will help. I know this work is the work of salvation
and it is to change the world. Please come be part of it, prepare for
it and see the power of the almighty god in YOUR life. I have seen it
so many times just in this last week as we had to do the unthinkable
and fill a whole baptismal font with buckets of water. We had a lovely
baptism this last week. We couldnt get the font to fill up normally so
we grabbed buckets of water and filled it up like champions. it was so
fun. Great baptism lots of stress but the end was amazing. That was
kinda my week frustration with people, members and a crazy baptism.

Dear Family,
1. What is your companion like? What funny things can you tell us?
Did you scare the crap out of him when the dog bit you? We know how
you react to pain and it can be scary. Tell him sorry in my behalf if
you freaked. I will take the blame for that. :)Well he is from peru his name is elder parra. He just has no fear to
say things and to joke around. sometimes its like DONT SAY THAT!!!
haha but whatever. He laughed when the dog bit me... mean right. i did
keep my cool though i just turned at the dog and gave it a nasty
glare... i was mad but in pain at the same time.
2. What did the dog look like that bit you? Was it a big dog or a
Taco Bell Chiauhau? Brent wanted to know that one... It was a cross of a german sheperd and a gold lab... so a big dog...
3. Who are you teaching and what are they like?susanna and her family. It is a family of four they are super shy but
the little kids love us. The mom is so humble and we are excited as we
know that she has a testimony of the gospel. I hope the dad catches on
to the fun. but for no he is catholic. bummer.
4. How is the ward?The ward is amazing but like all wards it has goods and bads. However
i love the leaders here we actually just helped the asistance go up to
91 the first time this year WHOO!
5. What are you doing to fatten yourself up? Costello is looking
skinny too from what I can see of his pictures...Uh i have no clue. next question.
6. How do you find peace when things are hard?Well here in mexico if you get mad you look really dumb. so ya just
kinda shake it off and well how can i fix this. But when it does get
hard i just pray. I work harder and smarter. I cant afford to get
disanimated cuz when it does happen i am hopless. The power of faith
does not exist when we are not happy.
7. What piece of advice can you give all of us who are nervous about
the future and miss how things were in the past?I love the quote from kung fu panda. yesterday is history tomorrow is
a mystery but today is a gift. that is why it is called the present
haha movie quote! More than anything is that the past we cant change
the only thing we can do is what we do this day there is a quote from
elder eyring called some day. Great talk. The future well its gods
will so how can we not trust in him and pray with hope that all will
be ok. aka positive thinking!
8. Do you know how much you are loved? So many ask about you. yes i feel it everyday.
9. Have you heard that Becca is marrying Jake Harding? What is your
reaction to that news?Wow somebody knows how to sacar la fecha man!! Whoo congrats!!
10. When was the last time you washed/changed your sheets? Please say today!Next question
Well family i tried to have some fun with these lovely questions. I
love letters like these. This week was just absolutly insane. District
problem helping other areas in the zone and well just scrambling to
get things done. i dont know how but the lord blesses us for our
sacrifices. I left my area for about 2 days in the week and it is like
a huge problem. I felt like this week was just not normal. Not much
happened other than i went to go get my visa done again. LANE WHEN YOU
SIGN YOUR PASSPORT DO IT VERY VERY EASY. dont sign all fancy like i
did i had to try like 2 extra times it was such a pain. Do it simple.
anyway i got to see my district from the MTC but not elder costello. I
forgot how much fun these guys are. I was laughing so hard. all night
and all day. I miss those guys already. Its great to see the progress
and how different the world is at home. I cant wait to see how amazing
the temple will look when i come home. I pray that the day i come home
we can go to a session or something. This week though i had some
amazing insights about charity. I realized that well you can bully
people into the church but you can only love them into the gospel.
That is a quote from a good friend of mine elder Kennington. I never
reallythought about it much but it came to me when i was with a less
active who said the exact same thing and then a ton of things just
clicked. I am making a goal to first love my god then my neighbor. I
wish i could explain it but it would just be a jumble of thoughts and
feelings. However how we love our god is to keep his commandments and
second to bring your friends into the gospel. There is no great joy or
satisfaction that can be better than this. I love this gospel, I love
my family, most of all i love my Savior. He has saved me from a
horrible end, I know that he saved all of us who have taken upon us
His name. He will not let us fall. I love Him so much for that. "For a
sinner such as I he suffered he bled and died. Oh its wonderful to
me." I know that all will be fine if we trust in Him, the future will
figure itself out. Thank you so much for all of your love. I love and
miss you all too.

Dear family
Alright do i have some adventures for you!! ok where do i start? Well
we had a great week looking for our little family of four they came to
church this week and we have put a baptismal date with them for the
21st of june and things are looking great as we will be baptising this
week another little girl. I love completing famlies. how else can we
have eternal families if they arent complete? so we are looking like
we will baptise again this week. My companion and i get along great HE
IS FROM PERU!! He loves it here in mexico and we had some serious fun
today as we went to the most biggest mall i have ever seen...It has an
ice skating rink people! Its by far way too extreme. However we have
had so many powerful spiritual experiances. My district needed help
getting four little kids baptised and we just need the ok from the
parents. so that was our goal. Well we came in got the confidence
level then we started talking about the doctrine of baptism. We got to
the part about baptism and invited the family to get ready for the
next week. Well the mom was still not sure so we continued to the gift
of the holy ghost. I will never forget this. I was explaining to the
hermana like hey imagine if your kids had the spirit of god right next
to them every second of every day helping them make the best decisions
not just good ones. I dont know why but this woman started to cry...
We were a little confused. she looked at us and said my little girls
need this because we just got into an argument and i think that would
be the best thing for them. I want my children baptised. I sat and
just smiled from ear to ear. I felt like the spirit had guided the
whole lesson it just filled the whole room. They are going to be
baptised the four little kids in two weeks and we are very excited
because the ward were those other missionaries are at have not
baptised since march. We have been very very busy. I love this area!
Also well i am sure president whitehead has told you I got bit by a
dog! hahaha oh it was so random! we were looking for Less actives and
this dog just decided it hated me and bit me. It got me pretty good. I
cried. haha oh well but all is well i already went to the doc and i am
taking some medications to help me out. I wanted to kill the dog in
the moment but who cares more stories for when i go home! Well that
was my week and i hope you like these pics!
