Dear Family,
I can't believe what happened last Saturday. I went on interchanges with elder Brooksby to help him get more people committed to church, and we just walked to an old investigators of ours and it was just weird. First, we got inside she didn't want to come out of the bathroom to receive us, so we were just chilling with her family. Second, she comes in and she just unloads all of her problems and trials in her life. Third, we teach baptism and invite her to be baptized. Then she accepts the date, and I interview her and she gets baptized the next day.
It was very very weird--so fast and so fun. I am now in a different area in Culturas Armas. It is a small ward but it is so exciting to see the work's potential.
I am with Elder Davis and we just click already. We had a
great p-day going to Walmart and then just talking in the house. I will miss Santa Fe because I had a lot of success there in that area. I loved my last companion despite all of the troubles we had. I feel like I can manage my stress and frustration a lot better because of him, so he helped me a lot.
Happy birthday, Dad; you are now oldish... sort of. Also, Happy Fourth of July. I almost forgot last week hahaha.
Thank you for letting me know about what is going on at home. I will pray and help the best I can with all that is going on. I love you lots and, Mom, I hope you are having fun before school starts again.
Love,
Your son
