Well, I have some epic news!! Elder Kennington and I are staying another change. To answer your question about companions from the US, I get along great with them. However, I still struggle to get along with Mexican companions. My comp and I are just going crazy we have a ton of possibilities to baptize this week, and we can't be more excited. We have been so blessed and super excited. I can't even tell to you the way crazy things that happened this week as my companion got super sick and we still worked through it, and WE BAPTISED AGAIN!! We have been off the wall excited.
This baptism was quite the story. She happened to hit a certain time frame for her body... yeah that one. She had to go back to her house to go change and we thought we were going to lose the baptism. However, through diligence and hard praying she came back and got baptized. She has so much faith for doing this as her family has threatened her to isolate her completely and never talk to her again. Her mother's birthday was the day before her baptism and she was told not to come by her own mother. I then realized how
powerful of a testimony this woman has. She literally left her family and friends for the gospel. How much more powerful can that get?!
I am so excited for the next change and we are hoping to get around 5 more baptisms in the following weeks. This next month is crucial for the mission. President set a crazy high goal: 500 baptisms in March AND April. Um, whoa. We know that we can do it; we have the missionaries and the Lord is on our side. I know that we can do it. I am so excited for
the next couple of months. How many times have I said I AM SO EXCITED!!??? because I can't say it enough. I know that the Lord blesses his servants even when we are a little sad we will see something or someone to help us up.
I can't believe I am in my seventh change of 16. Wow, scary. I love the mission and I miss all of you. Stay strong in the
faith.
Elder Thompson
