Too Busy for Friends, but not a Good Coke

Dear Family,

Well, it is official. I can't help but talk in Spanish, so forgive my grammatical errors. This December will be so fun talking on the phone, let me tell you.

I am blown away with how much Anna has changed and her form of talking and everything. I apologize for not writing her. Anna you're the bomb. No se preocupe. I love you all and I know that I have terrible English and I am having such a hard time typing in English right now. Ahhh. Haha jk.

I can't believe they made a movie about Maze Runner. That book was a good one, but you know what is better? Preach my Gospel and The Book of Mormon.

Honestly, since Carissa's wedding I haven't written Kinsie at all [sorry].  I love all my friends, and I miss them but nothing is more important than preaching the gospel. So, yeah.

Mom, I am glad you are worried about me because the food, as great as it is, well it also has opposition. It is called Chichearon in salsa verde.... It is pig skin in salsa and pretty much THE MOST DISGUSTING THING I HAVE EVER EATEN. It was so funny for my companion, but for me it was awful.

This week was also a really rough one. My leaders have gotten after me a bit but all of it is for my benefit so why should I get upset? We worked but not near hard enough. Our numbers suffered and only one person attended church.
After a good talk with my new comp who is just like Coach Wyatt (I am dead serious-- actions habits the way he presents himself everything he is a mini version of Coach Wyatt but Mexican!) Anyway, after a good talk we are going to work super hard this week. We also found a family of four that are looking like they will get baptized.  After five minutes of explaining the Book of Mormon for the first time, they asked if they could have one. That never happens. I am super excited for this family.

Right now is one of the toughest times in my mission, I am not going to kid. Training is really hard and also leading a district is killer hard. I know I can do it though, so that is all good. I am going to try and slow down and enjoy the journey and do my best.

also had a Coke from America today...BASURA!!! Sorry, but it is so true. The Coke here is the best I have ever had [and those who know our family well, know this kid has had his fair share of Coke...]

I hope that all is well at home, and I hope that you are trying to better yourselves every day. That is why we are here. For awful is the state of that man who, wasteth his days of his probation. HA, fun. I love scriptures.

Elder Thompson,
Your son
